Narrative Essay Samples - Go to the Bookcase

Narrative Essay Samples - Go to the BookcaseA lot of people read narrative essay samples in fourth grade and they ask me, 'Where can I find them?' My answer is simple: just go to the bookcase.I remember when I was in fourth grade, I wanted to write a story. I wanted to share a special experience with my friends.I went down to the bookstore where the books were and I went to the fourth grade section. That's when I read a great story about a shipwreck, about someone who has his leg amputated and from the third person and I was fascinated by it. It told about a man who was afraid of losing his leg. That first story stuck with me, and I wanted to tell others that story. I knew I had to begin writing. This is how my story began. The next time I read narrative essay samples in fourth grade, I couldn't believe they were written by adults. It was amazing that they could go into so much detail in their stories and they had everything in perfect grammatical order. I'm not sure what I was expecti ng, but I didn't expect grammar and proper sentence structure. You'd be surprised at how many kids have this in their vocabulary.I still look at those samples in fourth grade, because I want to share my story with the world. I have a brother who is two years older than me. He tells my story in fourth grade too, and it always makes me think of the story. In fourth grade, my friend was talking about the mastectomy story and how you'd write a narrative that made sense of the story. So I decided to begin writing a narrative aboutmy life.I started my own story and I finished it last week. If you want to make a story with your friends or if you want to tell someone else's story, I hope you'll consider taking this approach.
